Leah is a realty rock-star! My experiences with her (now three purchase or sale transactions) have been outstanding in every way. My first experience with Leah was selling my studio apartment at Lincoln Square. Because I was leaving NYC on a specific date, Tabsolutely had to list, negotiate contract and close on time. Leah confronted the realities of my time constraints without pressuring me to have a "fire sale" and talked extensively about pricing. I think we struck exactly the right balance between my need to sell quickly and my need to "net a certain number. I considered hiring a smaller realty company, but they can't leverage the same degree of marketing, interest, hype and foot traffic. Let's face it, a Realtor's® cut is big but, in Leah's case, it was well-earned. She spent as much time with me as I required for questions and concerns. Let's face it, a Realtor's® cut is big but, in Leah's case, it was well-earned. She spent as much time with me as I required for questions and concerns. She was immediately responsive to calls and emails. She basically just took it over, to my great relief. The apartment was beautifully staged and photographed and Leah prepared an accurate and attractive sales package. She timed its introduction to the market to maximize exposure. Leah made the scheduling easyjust needed to get out of the way and let her do her job. When I received an offer, Leah negotiated hard to get me a great price. After that, the complex cooperative transaction went swiftly and smoothly, which I so desperately needed. My second transaction with Leah was as my buyer's broker when I returned to NYC. She made excellent suggestions that considered my budget. demographic, lifestyle and priorities. Leah negotiated a price almost $40k under the asking price to what I could manage and navigated all aspects of the deal through closing. Most recently, I listed the same apartment with Leah and she again attended to every detail of a gorgeous staging and photography and outstanding marketing package. I decided after all to remain where I am for the time being. But when I'm again ready to list, I wouldn't consider going with anyone else. In sum, not only is Leah a truly skillful and knowledgeable Realtor®, there is also the simple and important fact that she is a pleasure to work with. She's smart engaging, personable, and, most critically in sales, genuine, someone to whom prospective buyers and their agents respond favorably. I can't recommend Leah more highly.

In early 2010 I met Leah and asked her for some guidance about selling my apartment. Our initial meeting was very casual and Leah provided an honest assessment of what she thought I could sell it for. We went over comps and discussed what was marketable about my unit and where it needed work. Leah didn't put any pressure on me to give her the listing or even press me on a timetable for selling the apartment. It was actually several months later that I ultimately decided to sell and asked Leah to handle all the details. My place sold within a few months and not so far from our listing price. I think part of that success was Leah's vision for staging the apartment. We removed some furniture and re-arranged the rest. We also put plants in to create an inviting mood for potential buyers. I think part of that success was Leah's vision for staging the apartment. We removed some furniture and re-arranged the rest. We also put plants in to create an inviting mood for potential buyers. Overall I never doubted Leah in the selling process. Her approach is to be friendly and approachable to buyers and sellers, while maintaining an arsenal of knowledge about the New York City market. As a result of my sale, I recommended that my two brothers, both of whom were looking to sell their units as well, speak to Leah about the process. It was a particularly tough task because their units were high-end condos with identical layouts in the same building. The goal was to sell them both at similarly high prices at roughly the same time. Like my apartment, Leah staged the two units including redecorating a massive terrace which she had a very specific vision for. One of the units sold quickly and at a very solid price, setting a great comp for both the other unit and the building in general. After the first unit sold, Leah continued showing and aggressively marketing the other unit to get it sold as well, and it did not too long after. I think what my family appreciates most about Leah is her communication and had work. There are no games, no beating around the bush, just a concentrated effort to get apartments looking appropriate for sale and then fetching the highest prices possible. We consider Leah to be a friend at this point and look forward to working with her in the future. We would recommend her highly to any buyers or sellers looking for a true advocate in this tough-to-navigate real estate market.

I was lucky to be introduced to Leah Blesoff through a mutual friend when I mentioned that I was looking to buy an apartment in New York City. At the time, I was living full-time in Miami and looking to expand my work possibilities. We chatted on the phone and I liked her immediately: she asked intelligent questions, has great knowledge of the city and all its neighborhoods, and most importantly, she was an attentive listener. Leah was tireless in her search for my apartment and was always incredibly responsive at any time of the day. She was very astute in determining what apartments I would be interested in seeing - to the point where she understood me better than I understood myself! After looking for several weeks, I sent her a West Village property that I saw online and her first response was, "I saw this but it will be too small for you, Ashton - you'll outgrow it in a year. After looking for several weeks, I sent her a West Village property that I saw online and her first response was, "I saw this but it will be too small for you, Ashton - you'll outgrow it in a year. You're going to end up living the city more than you think." However, I insisted, and she patiently indulged me, went to see the apartment, and shot a video of the apartment with her phone for me to view in Miami. Leah ended up brilliantly negotiating on my behalf and I got the apartment in a bidding war and I was so happy - but she was right, and a year later, I decided that I needed a larger apartment! Leah found my next beautiful apartment, which I currently reside in and adore, and she sold my first apartment on Perry Street at a great price, setting a record for the building. This was definitely due to her great marketing and branding - I was so impressed with her photographer, floorplan artist and marketing team. They truly are top-notch and great at what they do. As Leah predicted, I am now a happy New Yorker and getting here was such a pleasure with Leah by my side - she is the ideal combination of a focused, energetic go-getter without being pushy. I truly felt at all times that my interests were her priority, which is a great feeling to have in the crazy world of Manhattan real estate!

I don't know what I would have done without Leah when buying our apartment. We actually thought we knew what we wanted - a modern, open plan. Leah was great and knowledgeable, lining up several potential places, all in our price range. And while they matched the priorities we gave her, none of them led us to pulling the trigger. That's when Leah sent us an email with two words - "great building." While it is a pre-war apartment (not modern), the rooms are huge, the neighborhood is amazing, and we now have the opportunity to renovate and create exactly the space we want. Leah had been incredibly patient as we went from one apartment to another. She listened to what we were saying and realized this was ultimately the direction that would make us happy. When you spend as much as you do in NYC on an apartment, you want something that you're going to love (not like). Leah then guided us through the very cumbersome coop purchasing process, keeping us organized and serving as a calming force. She recommended good attorneys, pushed back on the building's broker when needed, was always responsive (even when on vacation) and stuck by us throughout the entire process - right up until the day we closed and she handed us a bottle of congratulatory champagne! I trusted her completely - she was direct and honest (even when it wasn't what we wanted to hear), and an all-around pleasure to work with. You could not ask for anything more when looking for the person who is going to help you make one of your "life decisions." Thank you Leah! Because of you, we have the apartment we've always dreamed of!
